This should be easy for me
to explain what you have done for me
You have opened my eyes
to the world's ways
How to make it through the hard days
in so many ways
it was like forever in space
where we could finally excape
from the world's hate
You have opened up to me
and helped me see
that life isn't meant to be easy
It is to see what is in you
And to find what you can improve
You have put your trust in me
That was hard, I know
I could tell it was a struggle
It felt good when we could cuddle
Remember running through the puddles in the rain?
Things will never be the same
But not much will change
We will grow in age
We will move on to the next stage
And see what is next for us
But we will always hae each other's trust
That is such a must
You have put confidence in me
To be all that I can be
And to become the person that you knew I was
You helped me get over hard times
By simply taking the time
to explain what was going on
And to help me know that it wasn't my fault
When my life was coming to a hault
You were able to take a risk
It was something you would never miss
Do you remember our first kiss?
Would you have done it again?
Because I was your friend
Or change your game plan
You helped me get my head straight
And gave me a reason to get into shape
The times we were together were so great
Yeah we made mistakes
But the biggest mistakes
Have not yet come
If we still talk and get along
We couldn't have been so wrong
Now if everything was over
The I would say we've made the biggest mistake ever
We always seem to recover
we talk on the phone
We are never alone
We laugh all the time
Will we be friends for all of time?
I hope so
