You’ll not be forgotten
Carved into stone
Purpose begotten
By your flesh and bone
Strung up by your peers
Told you, you’re the one
Shielding them from the spears
You died as they run
Blood drained as a sample
No more than a tool
A high stakes example
Fit only for a fool
I watched you tossed to the gallow’
Effigy to their crime
In pity I wont wallow
Delusion brought forth the lime.
