You tell me that I’m perfect
But perfect is not me
I’m far from it really…
But you say Perfect’s what you see…

If I were to be perfect
I would not have wished for death
I would not have started smoking weed
I would not have thought about meth.

If I were to be perfect
I would not have slit my wrists.
I would not have tried to kill myself
I would not have been dissed.

If I were to be perfect
I’d be the prettiest girl in the world
I’d be skinny yet muscular.
I’d be your perfect girl

If I were to be perfect
I would not have been me
I have so many imperfections…
Yet you still see me perfectly.
