This tough front you put up,
Doesn't fool me,
I don't believe that all you need
Is you.
You need to realize,
You don't always have to be strong,
Don't always have to be stained,
For I am here for that purpose to,
To soak up all your pain,
The way you have many times
Soaked up mine.
Even though you've been through worse, and survived on your own,
You're not on your own anymore,
Not all alone,
For now and for ever more,
I will remain your side,
You can push and resist my help,
All you want,
It will do you no good.
I know you're not afraid,
But I am afraid for you,
You are my best friend,
And no matter what you do,
I will remain scared,
I will always worry,
I will never believe that you
Are okay,
You say you are,
I don't understand,
Why you can't just open up
And tell me what it is
That has you crying
These bitter tears.
I know you have your scars,
I have mine too,
Let me help you heal,
I can make them fade,
Atleast some if not all the way,
If you would only let me.
