Why did you go?

Her life was so perfect
No problem in her life would you detect.
She was loved by everyone,
And she always knew how to have a little fun.
All the girls thought she was great,
And all the guys wanted her for a date.
Just when I thought her life couldn’t get any better,
I received a horrible letter…
It said, in her convertible she was driving fast.
The soft breeze upon her face, she wanted it to last.
Talking on the phone, listening music, volume up high,
If only she knew she was going to die…
She was not looking ahead, so she crashed,
Before she knew it, her life before her flashed.
Her car flipped over, she had lost control,
As her car went and started to roll.
Her head was smashed,
Her body was all gashed.
I realized it was the end for her.
I threw the letter; it all seemed like a blur.
I started to cry, I started to weep,
For this pain was just too deep.
I went to her funeral, in her casket she lied,
As I bent over and said good bye…

*In loving memory of Kayla*
