A layer of fog and mist
Settles upon my skin
Hear the mysterious words
Of those who've already been

A god-like place like this
Only appears in dreams
The atmosphere so heavenly
Or that's the way it seems

The silence so beautiful
Dew drops on the ground
The sun a cascading blanket
There's surprises to be found

A child's giggly secrets
Where a robin builds her nest
A pine's trees' draping branches
A place to let out all my stress

Angel kisses sparkle
Leaves get up and dance
A fawn leaps thru the brush
This is our last chance

To get away from the noise
And the troubles that we face
Things that bring our spirits down
Are gone without a trace

A beautiful, perfect dream
Nothing more and nothing less
Sinking deeply into my mind
my sins are all confessed

for a layer of fog and mist
settles upon my soul
i piece my life together
and once more i'm whole
