I handed you my life, my soul,
but most of all my heart.
You made me feel complete and whole,
but then it fell apart.
My heart dropped down to the floor,
when I learned just how you feel.
My dreams went out the door,
as my heart just tried to deal.
I didn't know what to say,
as I felt this pain inside.
I knew I wasn't okay,
when I started just to cry.
You must have been real special,
because I don't cry alot.
And I just felt like breaking down,
but I knew that I could not.
I don't know why I feel this way or why it would've hurt.
But I know I'll get through day by day,
even if its not unhurt.
