chatting it up and laughing on AIM
then i clicked on your profile
my eyes watered and jaws dropped
i probley looked like i had swallowed a lime
because u wrote u loved her
it hurt, it really did
last years break-up was topped
by you
as i read each word slowly
down to my feet, my heart slid
i stumbled blindly from my computer
the thick salty tears blurring my eyes
the tears fell, and sadness overwhelmed me
i thought i would die
i thought you liked me
i thought you were the only guy
that could see
the real me
i traipsed to my room,
grabbed my teddy bear and cried
i dare not look up, for i knoe overhead a dark cloud would loom
a little while later,
i looked in the mirror
and i realize
i wouldn't want to date me either
