Under the water
He can't see my tears
The stream breathes the flowing
As my head falls under
The current pulls me down
He can only watch
All that we've been through,
and he watches me drown

As my body dissapears
Into the river
All the spirit drifts away...

He can't remember from all these years
All those times shine on the water;
Like mirrors
Foggy breath or heavy sighs?
He cried on my shoulder as I dried his eyes.
"Life is sweet, my dear;
Try not to lose it in your fear"

His head turns away
as I fall through the stream
The thoughts are rushing through my mind
As my lips freeze above the water
My soul is falling under

I'm crushed in the waves
and he's running from me
I sink to the bottom as he can't forget
These small words
I won't regret I said

"Life is sweet, my dear;
Try not to lose it in your fear."

When all the lies turn to truth
That's the day I'll leave you
The breath on the water as you look down!
The life that's gone has come unbound!

"Life is sweet, my dear;
Try not to lose it in your fear!"
