Golden trees drop golden leaves
That catch the drippings
Of the sugar honey sun,
As we go a walkin’
Through the cornflakes,
Crunchin’ beneath out feet.
walkin', while wearing scarves
As soft as those marshmallow clouds
walkin', as the apple-crisp air makes
Our cheeks turn all rosy.
And as the cold goes right through me
But I don't mind.
For love hovers in the silence
For beauty cannot be captured.
