I started to change,
then decided not to
The reason is,

I began to give in,
to what others would say
I began to be like them
and do things their way
Soon I began living a life,
one in which I didn't want to
But that all changed,
because of you
You showed me how to live
and how I wanted to be
You showed me freedom and fun
You showed me how to be me
Then I decided what
exactly that I would do
I would just be me,
because of you
