Her anger wells up
deep inside,
It twists and turns
and boils,
She watches the whole
world glide by,
As she slips through
a dangerous toil.
Her eyes well up
with hateful tears,
She knows she's been
left behind,
Consumed by all of
her fears,
Searching for a sign.
A sign of life,
A sign of death,
A message of grace,
Devine.
"Return salvation to
me!" she shouts,
To a sky that doesn't
hear.
"Save me from my
hateful self!
Hope and love are
so near!"
She writes it all
down in the sand,
And the waves wash
it away,
No one cares to
listen,
To what she has to
say.
She stumbles through
an endless night,
She knows how it is
to be,
Constantly yelling
about pain's grip,
so tight,
To an ignoring sea.
