Sleeping beauty

I wait here alone

Awaiting the kiss from my prince

That’ll awake me from this nightmare

called life

Patiently I wait

As the years pass me by

Lying here with virgin lips

Waiting for yours to meet mine

I’ve been waiting for so long

It seems I’m slipping away

But still waiting for the day

When your lips will meet mine

It’s been so long my prince

And though now I’m nothing but a broken soul

I still shall wait for you

And your promised kiss

To awake me from this nightmare
