I wipe my eyes as the tears start to flow,
I take a step back,
How did this happen,
What did I do wrong,
I still care bout her,
But the feeling isn’t the same,
Something is missing,
I need her by my side,
So I can feel what I’ve always wanted,
I turn now,
Away from this awful life of mine,
Who can I trust,
How will I know,
What is left for me,
I can’t feel anything inside,
I need someone to be there,
But that’s too much to ask,
I thought I knew her,
But I guess I never did.
