how much is it to ask for?

there she walks
all alone
down a croweded hallway
all torn up inside
yet no one sees
what shes hiding
behind those big blue eyes
and all her smiles and laughter
shell never tell
the world
about the pain she hides
keeing it deep inside
shes so alone
even though
theres so many near
she wishes she could cry
and let you know
shes not ok
she falls to her knees
looks up to the heavens
and asks
how much is it to ask for to be loved once?
HOW MUCH?
she screams
as the tears
start to roll down her face
she walks alone
down a crowded hallway
never to be noticed
never to be loved
dying inside
alone
never a shoulder to cry upon
never any arms
to fall into
knowing they wont
let you fall
death awaits
standing in the rain
in the middle of the the night
waiting for this young girl
to give up
on love,
life,
everything...
