a razorblade lullaby

She looks in the mirror its her time to go
Her minds passing with the seconds
She can feel her blood flow

She grabs the razor hidden under her bed
Next to the note that they’d read when she’s dead

Gasping for air the razor kisses her skin
Sinking deeper and deeper
Her only pain is from within

Alone on the floor stained in bright red
She lied alive but spiritually dead

As she looks at the hole her father made in her wall
And the empty memories hung in the hall
She feels herself slipping away

She remembers the days when a smile on her face
Would pass like a tear in her eyes
The only reason she left was because she couldn’t accept
Living life as such a lie
