Thanksgiving has come and gone
And Christmas is near
Soon we will be celebrating
the birth of a man who taught us more than just right and wrong
We will celebrate with presents,prayer, and our family
Who will soon be here

This is my favorite kind of season
The one that teaches us to love and give without much reason
Everyone is cheerful
Although some kids are fearful, that Santa won't come because they were
bad

For others though, this holiday season is sad
For they don't have a family, or a home
And it makes me kind of mad
Because we are wrapped up in ourselves so much we forget those in need

So this Christmas
Do a good deed
And help pray,clother, or feed
So this holiday season they won't shed a tear
Merry Christmas everyone
And have a Happy New Year
