In the still of the night,
I often ponder,
What it would be like if we were together,
Where would we be,

But no matter how much I try,
To fight back the pain,
I slowly fall asleep in my tears,
Alone just as we last left another,

Another heartbreak,
Another day to heal,
But this heart of mine,
Stays forever broken,

For when you left,
You took a little bit of me,
The part in which I gave to you,
My heart,

And though you're gone,
Forever you'll be with me,
I had let you in,
And now you stay with me in my heart,

But I am now a better man,
To of had you apart of my life,
To have experienced your love,
To have lived life with you,

The experiences we shared,
And the memories,
Will always stay with me,
In my heart along side you,

And though I am torn apart inside,
It was worth every part of suffering,
To have held you in my arms,
And to have fallen in love with you,

My heart will be forever scarred,
And tomorrow will not be brighter,
But I wouldn't change a second about us,
Because I truely loved and cherioused you,

Through all,
I only fell more in love,
And every night I stare out to the midnights skies,
And ponder...
Where's the angel,
