Drifting

As i see you again each day
It seems you're driving farther away.

Our conversations- you quickly end
You say there's no extra time to spend.
When with friends you won't sit by my side
You act as if there's something to hide.
All too often you roll your eyes
As if i'm always telling lies.
When i joke you don't smile
When others are laughing all the while.
When i leave you give a quick goodbye
You shut the door before i reply.
You're always quiet-act like there's nothing to say
While i can explode with words as soon as i may

like sand being blown away from the dunes
i am slowy but surely drifting from you
Even if the winds should stop
Nonetheless, my heart will drop.
You run away like a frightened child
And i can't catch you-not for miles.
You keep running and i'm too tired
To find you now- i'm not inspired.

Happy now? The race... you've won
If this is a game, you've had your fun
Stop running away, for i've stopped chasing
This enless battle i'm tired of facing.
If you want to be through, just say the word
It isn't worh it for this is absurd
A slow hurtful torture was what you ensued
Your mind games were worse and now we're screwed
Together we have had such fun
But this shit you've pulled has pulled it undone
And unlike you, i'll cut straight to the chase
You should leave now, you spineless disgrace!
