I try to block out these unwanted memories, I try to to erase the past from
my mind. I've tried pushing you out of my mind...its just not possible. When
I'm talking with my friends, your there. In the hallways, your there, and
everywhere else I turn, your there. I've tried to forgive, and to forget but
I have yet to succees with this ongoing project. I just can't get away from
you or your name long enough to forget. I may talk to you...but theres still
some tension from my part there. I would have chosen never to speak to you
again, but my good friends are yours too. I'm finding the past too hard to
forget, I mean I have my guy, its just what you did is always stuck in my
mind. Just like bread on the roof of your mouth...stuck. Like gum under the
tables and chairs...stuck. Maybe thats all I am...stuck....stuck in the past
of horrid memories, until something can free me from the hurtful past. I
need to forget, I may have forgiven...but forgetting would make everything
better in life.
