When she left nothing stayed the same.
They all made new friends and then were changed.
Her very best friends were people whom she no longer knew.
They pretended everything was normal but inside it grew.
One day she had to be told
That her friends were doing horrible things it was so cold.
It was a very hot day, but she still got the chills
to think that her friends could be taking so many pills.
Some things that they did didn’t even make since,
because in her brain they were non existent.
But she reasoned it through and decided it wasn’t her fault
what could she do is all that she thought
they make up there minds,
no matter what you say,
so keep to yourself
and they will change one day.
It turned out differently then she has suspected
her friend came to visit and she seemed infected.
With the way she talked and walked about
everything was different but she loved her no doubt.
She finally came back, nothing really changed
and she was scared that they would never be the same.
She was right and they will always be different
but she loved them no matter what and thinks her time is not well spent
My friends are my life,
yes I am the one,
I wonder if life would be different if I didn’t run.
I ran from this place thinking my life would improve,
but I was wrong I never should have moved.
