Oh, What A Beautiful Feeling

Oh, what a beautiful feeling...
same situation...different day
Broken promises, broken dreams, broken heart
a perfect recipe for the artwork upon my skin

Oh, what a beautiful feeling...
as the blood rises to the surface
telling the story of my empty life
The voice of my tears...
gently silenced by the glint of a blade, tracing my every vein

Oh, what a beautiful feeling...
as the rain softly falls
in perfect rhythym with the crimson vengence dripping from my wrists
Defeat...a bitter presence breathing down my neck

Oh, what a beautiful feeling...
when I close my eyes
and I am taken far away from the cruelty of this world
and immersed into perfect understanding

Oh, what a beautiful feeling...
to unleash my anguish
with one kiss of the blade
draining my sense of hope, of love, and the will to face another day

Oh, what a beautiful feeling...
to see my creations, delicately glazed across my porcelain skin
painting a perfect portrait of the tortured soul within

Beautiful angel, turned to stone, soul to ashes, and tears to ice

Oh, what a beautiful feeling...
when, alas, I can feel no more
