Wings of the angel you have killed
Are stapled to my walls,
Left as reminders of what you did for me.
If I could only heal the wounds in my heart,
lingering from past supposed loves,
Maybe them, I could begin to see how much you care.
But for now, I am left bloody and broken.
Just a pile of strayed emotions.
Know that someday I will come to see,
That no matter how much I fall down,
You will always be right behind me
To help me back onto my feet again.
