A World Entertainer

I stand on the world's stage.
Bare and vulnerable with all eyes on me.
I am not a clown, not here for the amusment
of your silly minds.
Like a playful puppy chasing his tail not realizing
it is his own.
Notice I am just like you,
a stranger passing.
I can gaurantee that your imagination is far more
exciting then starring at my wrists, thighs, and stomach,
that are decorated with such a vivrant color.
Although red is not my favorite color
is does match my mood.
Turn the other way while I add some final touches,
and ignore my silent moans of terror.
I am not your entertainer, so pull the curtain down,
and watch me disappear.
That will be all, and that is the end.
