Never really far apart

Looking back on the times we had,
The smiles and the laughs.
Looking back at those good ole' times,
That are now all in the past.

Thinking about what could of been,
That have now all gone away.
Thinking about what should of been,
And how I wish that you could stay.

Laughing at the jokes that were made,
And the comments no one remembers.
Laughing at the faces you made,
Back in early September.

Wishing we only had more time,
To spend with each other.
Wishing that you could stay,
Maybe you should beg your mother.

Crying to myself,
How I am about to lose a friend.
Crying silently,
Because my heart is beginning to bend.

Remembering how we first met,
Will always be in my heart,
Remembering the times we spent,
And knowing we will never be really far apart.

Loving you,
That will always stay,
Loving you,
Forever and always.
