“Oho!” yelled the Quibbler furiously
As he juggled with polka-dot balls
“I see what you mean, and you mean what you say,
And I am quite frankly appalled!”

He danced and he pranced
And he sang and he rhymed
He ran round the world
In considerable time,
For he was the Quibbler
The Quibbler was he
And no finer creature
You ever did see.

“Aha!” yelled the Quibbler hysterically
As he played chess with little pink mice
“I see what you’re up to, and you’re up to no good,
And what I can see isn’t nice!”

He danced and he pranced
And he sang and he rhymed
He ran round the world
In considerable time,
For he was the Quibbler
The Quibbler was he
And no finer creature
You ever did see.

“Fiddlesticks!” yelled the Quibbler amorously
As he spotted a female like him
“I can see you’re quite fine, won’t you come out to dine?
Excuse me for acting on whim!”

He danced and he pranced
And he sang and he rhymed
He ran round the world
In considerable time,
For he was the Quibbler
The Quibbler was he
And no finer creature
You ever did see.

“Why of course!” yelled the lady excitedly
As she agreed to the Quibbler’s plan
“I can see you’re most pleasant, most pleasant you are!”
And with that, off towards him she ran.

They danced and they pranced
And they sang and they rhymed
They ran round the world
In considerable time,
For they were the Quibblers,
Destined to be
And no finer creatures
You ever did see.
