Golden sun with your vast white glare
Explain to me your ways
How do you decide where to shine?
And why is there gray still,
That has not felt your warmth?
The white will reflect you,
Will sparkle and shine
While the rest want so badly
Just a glance at your beauty
Golden sun, by day you will rule
And in your wake leave the glow of the moon
A moon overlooking the world which you love
To nurture the world that you kill
But day by day and night by night
No matter how soft the glow of the sky
Nothing will change.
Is it worth such a life
Who never basks in your light?
Because all will adore you
But explain to me your ways
Because many will die simply in search
Of you.
So golden sun, do you not see?
You murder most - and leave blind what's left
Is it not such a suicide
To wish upon the moon, that maybe
You might come unto thee?
For even if you gave a chance,
Your glare is so bright
Surely a follower should wait 'til the night
To see once more
His destiny.
