If I ever get up there

Accepting pain
Denying love
Oh help me father
From above

I need your help
If you're willing
What I am about to tell you
Will be a little chilling

My wrists are scared
My heart in pain
Everyone looking at me
With nothing but shame

Nothing but anger
Floods my eyes
I have a pair of wings
But I never seem to fly

I want to get away
From this world of black lace
I want to be with you
In that one beautiful place

The only place I think of
If I ever think at all
You're the one who catches me
When I begin to fall

You're the only reason
I'm still here
Wait for me
When I get up there

If I ever do that is
If I ever will
I keep forcing sins
That'll close the deal
