Blue Eyes

Who doesn’t love a pair of blue eyes?
They can be colored of a frozen glacier,
Or of the vivid summer skies.
I confess, they lured me in, once upon a time,
But now they’re cold and mocking,
Your wicked temperament they rhyme.
Most people love a man with sapphire peepers,
They swoon and drool and follow him
Tripping over the laces of their sneakers.
I seem to get involved with many blue eyed men,
But your scheming ways have wrecked my trust;
I’ll never kiss freely again.
Look what you’ve done!
I’m nervous and wary of men, will they treat me like you?
Thanks…really. Thanks a ton.
