On This Day of Celebraion

It is close of the end of the year
And as on this day of celebration we gather to exchange gifts.
I must apologize, but I am one that did not show up with
A gift for you.
To me, material things in the end are pointless.
I do come with something greater though.
Something that will last forever not only for you, but for me too.
It is something that we can share
Day after day
Year after year
Forever and ever
I come with my love and my warm, welcoming heart.
I come with something I believe is more tangible than
An expensive gift or even a simple card.
For more than a year I have loved you and I will continue to love you
Because you are my world, and in your heart I am your world.
On this day of celebration, I come to you with something more
Than anything I feel I even deserve, yet you give it to me to the fullest.
On this day of celebration, and everyday I want to say these three words;
And with these three words come an abundance of feeling and emotion
That can topple any.
On this day of celebration I want to say I love you,
I love you...
And I will always love you.
As you have said before you love me so much it hurts.
I understand that now because I feel the same way.
I love you that much.
On this day of celebration I want to say it over and over again...
I love you
I love you
I love you...
With every part of my being.
Merry Christmas my love

(I know it is a bit early, but I just had a sudden struck of inspiration I
had to write it now or else I would forget.)
