There’s a slip
In your kiss
That’s a thief
To your bliss
And the wrong
To your right
Weighs my halo to my horns
Tonight

The flight and orbit
Of the moon
Corrupts my thoughts
But leaves so soon
Above the sky
The night stands still
As eternity binds
My thoughtless thrill

Do you feel it there?
The cold wind rain?
Can you feel the heat?
That pounds my brain?
Like the dust in my nose
That makes me sneeze
Like the thrill in my veins
That begs and pleads

To be let go
To be let out
To jump and scream
And cry and shout
Still I stand still
And wonder why
My fingers dent the moon
But they cannot reach the sky.
