it's getting late and I'm getting light
I've forgotten just how much
you'd needed me.
I'm supposed to take it easy?
Your number's been erased
you just couldn't face me.
I've lost a lot of weight
and still you didn't chase me.
I hid it all in my jealousy;
something that consumed me.
But I haven't stopped by
and I haven't called, lately.
I think about you bitterly.
I can't think of better times
because even in my beautiful dreams,
you're still a liar.
"He's a good person." She told me.
I responded coldly,
"He's a bad person." But I added,
"He has good intentions."
I gave you that much.
You still wave your purple rags around.
But they're dirty, unclean, and loosely bound.
If you're going to show something off,
at least make it seem like she could clean up.
