Imaginary world so full of life
Where the sun would rise just to make them smile
And I wonder if they realize
How bad it could be, and
Are they thankful they've got such beauty in things
This place where magic roams the air
I wonder if they know what they can do
Beneath the light in their utopian ways
I wonder - do they bleed?
Could it be that a life such as theirs
Is simply an illusion? And
What if all their perfection was only
Masking. Unreal.
So we are taught to believe
In good and bad times
But their shells are oh so bright
It is near impossible to fathom a tear
In this imaginary world, in our
Imagining minds
It's no better than what we have here.
