sometimes i'd be sitting
with a smile on my face
to suddenly hear a 'tick'
a sound of something hitting my clothes
i look down to see a tear
and i realise
that somewhere at the back of my head
ive been thinking about you again
that my heart's been missing you once more

sometimes i'd be in a party
with some friends, having fun
then suddenly they play a song
a word from it i hear
and my smile goes cold
my eyes become emotionless
and i realise
it was one of those songs
you used to say it reminded you of me

sometimes i'd be in a movie
enjoying my time
and then i see you and her
your lips touching hers
and right there time comes to a hault
and my vision is blurred
i feel myself shaking so hard
and i realise
that it was just the couple
on the movie screen

a tear always runs down my cheek
as a part of me recalls your sweet loving words
the words that are now told to another

and am always reminiscing our memories

but then hers start to appear from nowhere
