She's Dead

"Welcome to this funeral we are holding today... Here on this dark and rainy
day. For a girl who always seemed happy and alive, but inside she struggled
with pain and depression and just couldn't survive..."

She grew up with hopes and dreams
She always was joyful, or so it seems
But when she was alone, she'd let it all out
She knew what she had to do, without a doubt

She hated everyone in her way
She hated her life every single day
She didn't understand the reason for living
Everyone just seemed so unforgiving

She knew she wasn't the best
Because of her misery she has been put to rest
No one saw the pain hidden in her eyes
No one saw past her happy disguise

Now she lays in the ground
She will no longer make a sound
Foolishly your wishes will you spend?
Or will you wish her back instead
