The truth hurts
If you can’t handle it then,
Simply just don’t ask.
If you ask, what you get is honesty.
And if you can’t take it,
Then, why bother asking?
I wont lie, if you ask my opinion.
But you’re expecting sweet words of reassurance
To come flowing out of my mouth.
Why should I have to live in a world
Where I can’t even tell my friends what I think?
It’s bad enough that you ridicule my thoughts
But it’s worse when you ask for my two cents.
Just simply don’t ask me.
