A little girl in a spell of writing

Her quill scratches the paper

As her thoughts bleed through her fingertips

As she thinks, her mind expands

And then she stops for the cramp in her hands

He opens the door and all her emotions fall

Fall from the sky above us all

Fall like the tears of a porcelin doll

Reading out loud

She's no longer interrupted

All she needs to say suddenly errupted

Steam from he eyes

Cools all the lies

She sits there and cries

Dropping the ice

Stripping the man of his disguise

As he lies and denies

Under the moon she sits

By a radiating candle a stranger has lit

The rain trickles down with the eagle's spit

At this age, a small girl with a big mind

The power she has just for wasting her time

The fire is burning in her eyes

Just like this town

As its life is defied.
