Bleed

As if I never existed,
Just like I never tried,
The more I look upon the past,
The more I realize how much I've died.

As if nobody cares,
Just like it's not plain to see,
For just like birds they've flown,
Everyone- without me.

As if a fairy tale,
Just like the shining armoured knight,
Now its one against all,
And they're ready for a fight.

As if the world turned over,
Just like a falling sky,
They left me hopeless in the dark,
Without even saying goodbye.

As if the world has finished,
Just like the end of the human race,
They pranced away laughing,
At the tears streaming down my face.

As if we were never friends,
Just like we'd never met,
Lying on the ground part alive,
You leave knowing I'm mostly dead.

As if a wounded star,
Just like a scar in the sky,
They cut open the flesh,
And leave me there to die.

As if a rainy day,
Just like a book you cannot read,
They just ripped my heart out,
And left me there to bleed.
