It’s time to take back
The night
To rap on the closed doors
Of skulls inhibited
Souls to ravage

The heart drum beat
Will crack the early dawn
Into bare fragments
Glass spirals stories

Cloud of iridescent steam
Where is my faith?
Was it lost
When columns collided
And broke down?

I leave the raped citadel
Of reason
Cup the heart in the
Holy shell of the hand
Ride midnight trains

Swamp sucks deep
Oozing forgetfulness like truth
The purest soul
Sinks deep with worry
Joins bottom-dweller folk

It takes no man to
Connect right and more-right
Life can scream and scream
But we remain deaf
As blinded eyes can’t see
Or feel

To raise a fist is power
You can’t tear it down
When all it’s beating
Is you
Pseudo-sacrificial lamb chop

Curly black and blue
Invisible to seraphs and
Your demon-kind
Can no one here
Taste my blood?

I love you very
Much. Even in my dreams you
Know what I’m about.
