Never Seen

Left alone in silence
Be it quiet or in your head
Amidst a lonely field of fears
Lays your worries, alive or dead

Say it not, think it though
Maybe then you won’t be frightened
Scared of what you cannot see
Seeing what you think you know

Echoes in the emptiness
Souls of realms you’ve never been
Watching you; but not you them
Always there but never seen

Maybe they're trying to tell you something
But never are aloud to speak
The hidden messages that tell
The answers which we seek

Denying perturbed thoughts
The mind makes tall tale
But how do you make amends
When common sense fails

Maybe there’s a life beyond this one
But not quite the same mass
But when that chill runs up your spine
Perhaps they have come to pass

Maybe life is supposed to be
Always somewhat of a mystery
And maybe the answers lie within the next realm of being
And they are there, to spark your curiosity,
Always there, but never seen
