Broken Dream

Take this happiness
That I once had
All that is running through me
Are memories that are sad

No one willing to give
Nothing left to take
Now I know everything I lived for
Was only just a fake

No more dreams to live for
No more songs to sing
Everything I have ever thought
Was just a broken dream

This razorblade
My only friend
Was the only thing there
Until the end

To wipe my tears
From my face
To kiss my wrist
With its loving grace

To show me its there
Through thick and thin
Like I know
It's always been

To keep my pain
In ease you could say
So for this once
I won't have to pay

Pay for something I didn't do
Something I've never done
If I let it kiss my wrist
In the end we have won
