Me and you.
we walk by eachother every day.
you hand me a notebook,
and we walk away.

in that notebook we both have poured,
our hearts and souls, a cost we can afford.
never telling lies, always truth.
with our pens, wounds we sooth.

we talk to each other,
in words unmatched.
for they're not said aloud,
but on to pages they are scratched.

we find ourselves,
in each other and knowing,
that this little notebook,
is keeping our blood flowing.

we dont talk much in school.
little more than a few words.
the words i have to say, though,
are poured into each verse.

our heart and souls,
are poured in with glee.
and the only people who read the notebook,
are just you and me.

so i thank you,
for helping me along.
for being a friend.
for keeping me strong.
