Anything For You
“Hold me.” She said softly, her eyes closing out the world.
“Anything.” He replied to her, kissing his dream girl.
He would be there for her through thick and thin.
He already had time and time again.

His friends called him crazy, but he knew better.
Now, who’s the one who had her?
He was. He had the girl of everyone’s dreams.
He was the one that got her smile to beam
Hell, he was the one putting that smile on her face.
And he was the one and only she would embrace.

It felt good to be “him.”
It felt good to win.

But then, his world crashed.
When her house was burnt to ash.
That night, the one she said she didn’t want to come over.
It was his fault for killing her.
He could have been harsh and told her to stay.
But she said that she would be okay.

He bent down at her grave, flowers in his hand.
He put the knife down then the roses at her stand
He smiled, placing a kiss near the angel statue.
And with his last breath he whispered, “I love you.”
