The Apology

I’m sick of hearing the same old lies,
and when you talk you don’t look in my eyes,
I tried to say I’m sorry, but you pushed me away,
there was nothing I could do then, nothing I could say,
now you want an apology I don’t think that is right,
cause from here on, and on, and on, apology’s are out of sight
you pushed me to the deep end you left me in the cold,
and even if were never friends again, there’s always an hand I can hold,
some people aren’t lucky, and others have it all,
but even when were down and out, theirs much more then letting yourself
fall,
So when you think nothings going your way, and everything’s all wrong
remember how bad I used to have it, remember my favorite song,
the one that sang everything I felt, how good I could relate,
and through those times of all the pain, this one song changed my fate,
now that I’m happy you think that I could say,
that nothings wrong and everything’s right, and all things come my way,
But there’s just one thing I still don’t have, and that’s your smiling
face,
remember I don’t need you, but you’ll always have a place,
I’m leaving the door open now so come whenever you feel,
you can take your own place back, and tell me what is real.
