That song is on the radio again
Buzzing through my brain like a bee
Why won’t it stop?
It’s always being played
Why won’t it stop?
It makes my mind crackle
Incessantly.

I reached over to turn it off
But something stopped me
Why couldn’t I?
I wanted to stop hearing it
Why couldn’t I?
It compelled me to listen
Dangerously.

Now even when it’s finished
It’s still there in my head
Why won’t it go?
It’s there time after time
Why won’t it go?
It’s driving me mad
Obsessively.

That song was on the radio again

And then I felt so empty.
