daddy
doesnt see
the pain
that lives
within me
he can't
see in my eyes

that money

he think
i'll be impressed
with a 52''
television set
but its just
a box to me

he says
he does

cant feel it
then its not
really there

daddy
has seen
me cry
for so
many years
and still
hasnt witnessed
a tear

daddy
doesnt see
when he looks

that im dead
inside

he doesnt see
that my only
chance for
true bliss
is to say

to this

he says
he does
