Love in Laughs and Photographs

I'll miss the sound of your laughter,
And the sheen of your hair;
The way you'd tell me how you missed me
When I wasn't there.
I'll miss the smile on your face
When I'd make you laugh,
And the many times we spent together
Capturing ourselves in photographs.
I'll miss the late night phone calls
When I needed to vent
About silly little things that upset me
And hurtful things I never meant.
I'll miss the way you tell me everything
That I really needed to hear
When I felt all but beautiful and worthy
And needed to disappear.
But I won't have to miss the way I'd say I love you;
I know just what it truly means.
Because even if you never know
I love you much more than it seems.
