"The Rain WIll Fall"

However the rain falls,
Let it glaze my skin,
Let it make a blanket,
As cold as it will be,
Of a disguise of what I am..

Maybe if it’s wet enough,
They won’t see the tears,
If it falls hard enough,
They won’t realize I’m screaming,
And not catching drops.

The rain will fall one day,
And give me the chance to leave,
To let go in front of everyone,
Without them knowing it .

When the clouds begin to form,
In a beautiful art of gray,
Know that this might just may be my day,
To let the rain be my getaway.

The thunder will hum,
And I will let my heart go,
I will tell it,
It’s ok,
No one will know.

Maybe if it’s wet enough,
They won’t see the tears,
If it falls hard enough,
They won’t realize I’m screaming,
And not catching drops.

Know that this just may be my day,
To let the rain be my getaway.
