The creek

I hear a tree branch creak
As the winds push by the creek
Its the mellow hills they seek
And those little valleys deep

My hair is pushed back on my shoulders
The winds push right past the boulders
Serene waters move
And ripple with the gust

Green grasses wave
Nothing can be hidden
From these winds that arent forbidden
They feel so nice under the hot summer sun
Im so happy with this breeze

The day has only just begun
My friends and I splash
In the creek under the trees
In the valley amongst the hills

The winds dry us off
On our short walk home
Our parents welcome us in
The creek to only us is known
