this cold world
laid a curse
upon my blackend heart
a kind of curse
that can never be reversed
day to day
i struggle to overcome
this horrid curse
yet by the end
of every day
this curse still lingers in the air
tickling my nose
reminding me of its self
and the revolting thoughts
it leaves me with
before i fall to sleep
i try to ignore it
by covering it up
with my laughter and smiles
but does not help
i scream out to you
scar my delicate wrists
no one comes
no one can save me now
for this curse
the cold world
had laid upon my blacked heart
will be with me
till death do us part
